Free at last! Free at last! Thank God almighty, we are free at last. Okay- so this wasn't really a Martin Luther King Jr. moment, or was it?! It had been three days since Wade had seen the world outside the prison cells. There was one thing that he could never get used to and it was those cells, they were secluded and dark and cold and annoying. Hell, he could even take the isolation unit with no problems, Wade actually liked being alone sometimes but the worst part is the douche bags who reside in those cells. There are always some guys in there who think they are the coolest thing since sliced bread and they want to tell you their whole life story hoping that it's worse than yours. What the fuck ever! Then again there were some good people, real bullets who stayed in those cells. Some of his best friends.

The cafeteria wasn't exactly paradise to most people, but right now it was Wade's savior. Food from the cafeteria on the other hand, that was more like hell. Sure there were some normal looking things like apples and shit but some of the food didn't look natural. The chicken looked like oatmeal and the green beans were brown. Awkward. "Hey," Wade said with a soft smirk as he sat in front of Iris, there was an apple in his hand and nothing else. How does anyone survive here with this kind of diet? "How are you today lovely?"

Iris won't lie. She wasn't at all disappointed when little old wade came on over, and plopped down at the table she just happened to be sitting at. She knew Wade well enough, and it was just a plus he was another one of the handful of slightly gorgeous people locked up here. "Wadeee. I'm... fabulous?" She smiled softly, the sentence coming off to sound a bit like a question. There really wasn't much about this place to be excited about- worth making her have a particular mood. She hadn't had anything too horribly heartbreaking to her in the past few hours; so the day was good enough to be dubbed 'fabulous', she supposed.

"How're you, sweetie? I haven't seen you in forever. You been locked up, or something?" Iris Regan tilted her head ever so slightly, and looked to the boy. She crossed one leg over the other; slowly moving to open the little package that held the spork and such. The macaroni looked.. non-living, which was good enough. The little side salad was quite bland.. maybe around forty calories? She'd fork that down- it would be swell enough to make her stomach stop screaming for a moment. She really didn't see wade that often- what a shame. He was a nice sight. Plus- he wasn't too horrible to talk to. She shifted just slightly so she could stab the limp noodles with the spork, raising them to her lips. Wow, what a mistake that had been. That was one disgusting noodle. Her lips creased into a frown- and she placed the spork down.

Hopefully, the chocolate milk would be alright. Maybe. She raised her eyes back up to the teenage male, and awaited an answer as she sipped her little chocolate milk. Good god, she was such a little girl.

"Aw, thankyou. So do you, but by now that's not really surprising. You always look amazing." Iris noted, smiling. There we go! A nice compliment had rolled on in her way; and the day only seemed to get better. With the small signs of her personality disorder fading just slightly, the smile stayed. Iris felt it would only be fair to let him know that he looked rather spectacular himself. It just wouldn't be just to leave him hanging like that, would it? No, not a bit. She suddenly praised herself for putting the spork down. That one lone noodle had really gotten to her. Fabulous.

"No drama today, at all. There hasn't been any for quite some time. It was.. two weeks ago, though. I was in the cells for sex. Hah." Iris smiled, slightly sheepish as she let out a light giggle. She wasn't at all ashamed to admit the fact; most of the people around knew her reputation for sex, anyway. Oh well. At least it meat there were alot of options when she wanted it or something. God, now she felt like such a slut. Yes, he'd used the little nickname, 'lovely'. Sure, that was a simple thing; but she'd take it like a compliment. She needed one after that little thought. Good, now she was feeling better. Lovely. She re-crossed her legs, now propping her cheek up with her fist; listening to the boy speak.

"Gross. No wonder I haven't seen you in ages." Iris let her nose crinkle a little, showing the fact she'd really come to have a whole lot of disgust built up for the prison cells. You could only be in there so long before you started feeling a little claustrophobic. Iris let out a soft giggle when he commented on the fact she'd placed the spork down after one bite. "Mmmm-hm. It's really sad how disgusting it is." Iris paused, to look at the food sitting on the plastic tray. She'd scarf down the lettuce later- she still wasn't finished with the little chocolate milk. Mmm, chocolate. Another row of giggles bubbled over her lips after his comment about the food being dead.

"I was sort of worried it was going to bite my lip or something." She bit her lower lip for just a second, granted her eyes were briefly locked with his. God, he was gorgeous. One perk of the asylum- all the gorgeous people were just as freaky as you. Sweet! She noted Evie was sitting at the table, and gave her a small smile and playful wink; motioning for her to come over. Even though she'd rather keep this little conversation with wade- Evie would be a lively addition. "Oooh, I know! Next time they let you; try to get ahold of me. It'd be awesome if we could go together or something. I always end up going with eden. It gets old."
