"God! Dammit! You! Stupid! Fucking! Machine!" A resounding kick followed each screamed word. Good thing there was hardly anyone else in the building (except the manager who gave him a stern talking to.) The stupid machine had already eaten some of his money, but no, that wasn't good enough- it still wouldn't turn on. "Your mom was a dishwasher."Dy said to the wash machine with one last kick. Talking to machines. Not a good sign.

Okay. Maybe not everyone would go to the Laundromat on their first day out of the asylum, but Dy's clothes supply was dangerously low. He had run down to his last few 'clean' shirts. Well not exactly clean clean, but good enough for a day. Why couldn't he be allowed to the mall? All he had done was attempt to kill a guard. It's not like that man had died. This punishment was unfit and unjust. Dy growled, maybe next time him and that guard met, Dy would do something worth being punished for. Well, that was more of his other talking, but still...

Dy had moved to the washer as far away from the possessed one to see if they all hated him or just the ones he picked. Putting in the coins, Dy could feel the manager's eyes watching him to make sure he didn't attempt to dismantle this machine as well. After waiting for a second, Dy looked at the screen - Please insert correct amount. "Dam you all." Dy groaned, dropping his head against the metal lid. He rally wanted a cigarette. Oh wait, those had been confiscated. Darn.

By the time the staff member had come over, Dy had already taken to pressing the return change button nonstop. It wasn't working any better than the kicking had. Dy groaned again. "That's a good point, but my toes might actually grow straight for once if I stopped jamming them into the side of a wash machine. We wouldn't want that eh?" Dy said, he had already taken his forehead off the cold metal to face the person. He wasn't sure who he was, so he must not had been a patient. Dy knew at least every patient's face. So that meant the man was either staff or guard. Obviously, guard was ruled out since a guard would have just kept watching Dy's attempts.

Dy's eyes noted the manager's movement, he had apparently felt his machines were safe from his wrath once he was interested in something else. Glaring at the old man's back, he stuck his tongue out. How childish. As soon as cigarettes were mentioned, however, Dy was full attention. "Definitely." He said, taking one in between his fingers. Dy reached around to his back pocket for his lighter. Oops, that was gone too. "You gotta lighter too?" He noticed the basket of forgotten laundry at the feet. "So Mister Staff Member, you mind telling me which one of these machines are willing to be cooperative?"
