Institute, ha! More like jail. I'd rather be in jail he thought miserably. The difference between Saint Dameilius and jail was that it was much much worse. He should know, Wade had been in at least three different county jails before they finally sent him here. Now he just wasted away with the other patients, waiting to get out. Not that we'll ever get out his mind spat, his inner thoughts were getting to speak for once and Wade wasn't enjoying it. Usually he was so sedated that he could hardly move, but lately he had been being a "good boy" as the nurse said.

The main lobby was probably the brightest, happiest part of Saint Dameilius. It was made that way he shuttered, it gives you a false sense of security. There was one little thing these maniacs who run the place never expected...Wade. Everyday from noon until three the institute accepted new patients and everyday from noon until three Wade sat in the lobby. He would save them, right before their parents sign their children's life away to this miserable place.

Shifting in his seat slowly he brought his legs under him, raising him about a foot off of his seat. The clock behind the front desk read 11:58. "Two more minutes until I save the world," he said quietly.

Sony walked down the hall. It was about two minuets away form the new daily delivery of patients. She would be there for as long as it took everyone to get signed in. She did this mostly so that she could figure out where the newbies that came in where going to fit. It was just a precaution on her part. She was the leader of the Nobodies. Not to mention she watched everyone like a hawk because she felt like it most of the time.

There was never really anything to do anyways. She hadn't had to go see her counselor for about two days so she was having a rather interesting day anyways. She walked into the lobby and saw another inmate sitting there. A bullet who was always there trying to save the world. She sighed and gave off a coy giggle and then walked up to him. "Ready to save the world?" It was funny really on where the people coming in where going to go and who was signing them into the joint. If it was parents there were mostly two gangs they went into hers or the outcasts. The bullets had to be the most interesting though.

Getting to see all the new comers was about as close to the outside as Wade was ever going to be, and he knew it. It was fun to see the kids some of them looked so normal, and some had to be dragged in kicking and screaming. Wade could always tell who was going to be a bullet or a nobody, it was obvious from the second they walked in. And as a bullet, he figured he'd scope out future gang members. The rest didn't really matter.

Saving the world wasn't easy, but maybe he could save these poor kids. Though it was quite unlikely.
They don't want your help Wade, they've done what they've done to be here. These are the kind of kids you don't want to mess with. A soft sigh came from Wade, how could the voices in his head be so wimpy and he be so tough. "Yeah," Wade said smiling, the girl had snuck up on him when he was lost in thought. She's a pro, watch out for her his inner thoughts said quietly. Almost as if they were afraid she would hear. A playful tone leapt into Wade's voice. "You gonna help me?"

Sony waited for the boy to reply to her. The closest either of them would ever get to the outside world was seeing the new kids come in. She had thoughts of running when she was up here. The only thing keeping her here was the fact that she lead her gang. Any attempted escapes wouldn't go down well and she'd be stuck in Isolation for a while and she hated that room with a firey passion. She was crazy she knew that but she didn't mind it to being with. Since the day she came here she'd probably only gotten worse.

It was funny how she could sneak up on people but it was rather fun. She wondered what the boy was thinking about her. She tired to make friends with who she could because you never knew when you needed more friends then those of your gang. Not to mention she liked to keep her enemies close too. He finally answered her. "Why not. Though we may not be able too some parents just have this thing about getting rid of their children." You could tell which kids were the ones that had been abused and were the way they were because of their parents. It was funny what you could learn on first impressions in this joint.

((lol i've given up on making my posts purdy))

The woman behind the desk looked up and winked at Wade. She did this everyday when the clock struck twelve, sort of a heads up. He could tell that she didn't want these kids here either. Hell, she had been there when he first arrived and he could tell she wished he wasn't arriving. The thing was, she cared. She wanted these kids to have a better life and she knew that being here wasn't going to help them. When Wade first arrived here there was a bullet sitting where he was sitting right now, and he was the first person Wade ever met here. Unfortunately the kid killed himself, said he couldn't take it anymore. But that was long ago.

"Some kids would rather be here than home anyway," Wade looked to the front doors. There was a silver car pulling up, the first victim of the day. Time to act like a fool the voices in his heads shot. Time to act like your so big and bad. Why don't you just act normal. The voice sounded like his father today, taunting and harsh. Because, he thought back to them, I'm not normal. "Do you think we're better off here?" Turning his head to look at the girl. Wade didn't really mean to say it, but it came out. Great, she'll think your a basket case. Suck it up, kid the newbies are arriving.

Sony looked at the boy watching him. she heard the clock strike twelve. She actually remembered when he had arrived. There had been another bullet sitting there that day and she had her normal stance next to the window. The only issue was that that bullet was no more and this one took over for him. This place was a persons worst nightmare. If you were only semi-crazy when you got here by the time you were here for a year you were worse then you were when you had first arrived her. She hated this place with a passion. People died left and right by their own hands or by frights with other gangs.

She was suicidal and then again she was also one to want to show people up. She was made leader of the nobodies because she was the one to get them together to begin with. She was sick of the fights and of them dying and not having others to protect them. She shook her head as she saw a car followed by other coming up. "The joy of newbies."They boy had a point. Some kids would rather be here then home. She'd had rather be home in her native land but well that was impossible.

They he asked if they were better off here. She looked at him for just a second. "No i don't think we are better off here." She watched as the first one was drug in kicking and screaming.

I really wish you would stop sitting here trying to make up for your friend the voice said very suddenly. Wade could feel his heart wrench slightly. His friend was more than a friend and the voice knew it, that boy was more like family. Better than family, they were like brothers. And that day when he died, nothing would be the same. You know you're only doing this because you feel guilty. Don't you Wade, you wish there was something you could do. Right then Wade wanted to yell at the voices, but he couldn't. Not in front of her. are you doing this thought back to the voices. 're only making me mad and in the end your helping me do this job.

This much was true, everyday when the new inmates came the voices spoke up and got Wade more pissed off with every word. That's how he was supposed to be, pissed. It gave the new inmates an idea of what he was about and what he represented. Later they would know that he was a bullet, and you never mess with bullets. For now he'd be pleasant until the newbies came in. "Yeah I know," excitement filled Wade's voice. He was actually quite fond of this job he had acquired. "I'm excited."

The kid coming through the doors, well being dragged almost was younger than he. The child looked to be only about fifteen. "You think they deserve to be here?" Usually the kids who deserve to be here came in calmly, almost solemnly. It was probably the most gut wrenching thing to ever be witnessed. "I don't think the kid wants to be here." A soft chuckle came from him. As the kid looked over, Wade shot the most hate filled look he could muster. The child gasped quickly and looked back to the receptionist. "Nope, not a bullet."

Sony watched the new kid. She loved to watch them come in kicking and screaming. It gave her the sense that they still had a mind of their own. She giggled slightly as the kid looked younger then she. That was probably not a good thing. The youngest they had so far was about fourteen and you hardly ever saw her. Hardly ever unless you knew where to look for her. Which in Sony's case she did but she would come up and scare the living daylights out of you if you weren't careful.

She watched as the kid looked over. The she gave them a smile and they just gave her an eye but when the boy next to her gave them a look the looked as though they were going to scream. "A new outcast don't you think?"She questioned the boy next to her as she started to hear those oh so lovely voices. You see these two weren't the only ones in here. There was a boy standing next to the other. The one that had died in here not to mention a room full of dead people that were generally making her go insane.

The kid was drug off to another place and the next one walked in. This one looked as though they wanted to be here or at least knew they should be here. She gave this one a look and she was meet with the same. That could be a good sign for her. She wondered if this one would match the look form the other. He looked older then she but that never really mattered to begin with.

Deep in his heart, Wade knew that some kids deserved to be here. Some a little more than others. He for instance, deserved to be here, he was crazy and a criminal. What a perfect combination. The girl sitting next to him he had heard about, but he really figured that it wasn't for him to decide whether she belonged here or not. She talks to dead people you know, maybe she's talking to your mother right now, talking about how much she hates you. Wade waved this off, he wasn't going to listen to the voices. Not anymore.

"Definitely," Wade smiled lightly and nodded. The kid wasn't bullet material and he knew good and well that the poor kid wouldn't do well as a nobody. Sure enough that kid would feel all alone in the world, being new and all. Before anyone realizes it an outcast tries to pull that 'your not alone, we're outcasts too' bullshit and bam. A new gang member. "I'm sure not taking in that poor soul, doesn't look much like nobody material either. Huh?"

As the next new inmate walked in he could tell immediately that she was a bullet, not even a potential bullet. The girl seemed calm, the eerie kind of calm that all bullets had. "I call her," Wade said pointing as the girl cussed at her guardians. He took out a pen and wrote down her name on his hand, Brooke. At least that's what her guardians called her. He did this everyday, wrote down names. Wade wasn't exactly the leader of the bullets but he was the initiator. Whoever he saw come in wouldn't be a bullet without his recommendation. It's how it works.

As the girl threatened the older adults another smile came onto Wade's face, a more mischievous smile. "You think she'll do good here?"

Sony giggled. She looked at the new girl that had just come in. "Yes she will do good" She heard her scream for someone to stop talking and realized that the girl was talking to one of the dead kids that was around her. Her eyes shot this look of complete happiness. She walked her way over to the kid and made to introduce herself. It was her little way of saying hello to the others. Not to mention she loved to do things to piss of some of the spirits around her when they got bad. It taught them a lesson or two and who ran the place at times really.

"Names Sony, You seem to be pretty angry there." She gave off a coy smile. "Welcome to your worst nightmare" she whispered softly. "You only get worse here." she giggled evily and winked over at Wade giving him this she'll do perfectly here smile.

A sure sign of insanity. The girl was talking to herself, or was she? But that wasn't a sign she was insane, people talked to themselves all the time. The sign of insanity came from Wade as he just watched her as she snapped off at nothing in particular. Normal people would be scared or even curious but Wade just glared at her. He was still in his greeter mode, which meant he was still trying to make an impression. All in all he never really had to try to make these impressions, they sort of made themselves. The first year he took this job he got so mad at a new inmate he attacked him upon first glance. When asked why he did it he simply replied; "He looked at me funny."

Looking over to Sonny he could tell that she knew something about the girl he didn't. They can both see ghosts you moron a quiet voice muttered in his head. This new girls too crazy to be a bullet, she's fucking crazy. Wade could feel a fire burning behind his eyes, he hated the voices. All of them. We're all fucking crazy he said so clearly within his mind that it scared him slightly. He had never been that calm and clear in his life, especially when he was angry. That's what we fucking are, crazy. I hear voices and she sees dead people. We are all fucking crazy.

Wade snapped back to reality, away from his thoughts and realized that Sony had gotten up and walked over to the girl. "Fuck off," he heard the new girl say. She's not making a very good first impression the voice whispered quite annoyed. As the girl walked over to him Wade could feel himself want to hit her, but he wouldn't. It was the voices making him mad, not her, she was innocent as far as he could tell. The voices suddenly took over Wade, he could feel them speaking but couldn't stop them. "Get the fuck away from me," the voices said. He said. His eyes had changed just then, their lively color and emotion was gone and they were distant now. Just as the voices were.

At the same time he wanted to follow her but he stayed put, sitting quietly in his seat.
