History; Nothing much has really happened in her life. When she was six, she and her mom got second place in a mother-daughter bowling tournament. Now, her mom just pisses her off. She has a little sister named Reggie, who is basically invisible. After this summer, she is going to a school that specializes in creative writing, so she writes a lot at camp. While her history is a bit plain, she's trying to make something happen. Sometimes that results in unpleasant things. When she was nine, she accepted a dare to become the first fourth-grader to jump from the top of the jungle gym. She ended up with one cast on each arm. A year later, she nearly drowned when someone pushed her into a pool. She's sort of like a cat that way, with nine lives. She was also scared of general life a bit for three and a half months. The reason:
"So, what does the Bible say about, you know, homosexuality?" Marci asked her uncle, Bob.
"Oh... it's one of the worst sins that can ever be commited. All people who dare act homosexual are going straight to Hell." He then began to vividly describe the firey pit, sending Marci into countless sleepless nights for the next three and a half months. She would finally break down into tears and tell her mother what his uncle had told her, leading to her mother telling Marci the truth- her uncle was an extremist. Marci was twelve.
When she was thirteen, Marci started seeing things. She thought they were dead people, because she was a big fan of paranormal shows like Medium. She would insist she needed to help the souls, but it turned out they were never real. Now, she just wants them to go away. She thinks that if she can't help them, she should be gone.
